One of us is drawn to the road less traveled, capturing the quiet beauty of wild places. The other is deeply focused on human connection, emotion, and storytelling. Together, we document your love in a way that feels natural, intentional, and true, placing your connection at the center of every landscape we explore.

Based in California but always ready to roam, we help couples create elopements focused in presence, meaning, and experience, not expectations. From planning and logistics to documenting your day, we’re here to support you every step of the way.

Getting To Know Us

Jenny

Jenny is a wedding and portrait photographer with over 17 years of experience capturing people, connection, and real emotion. Her work is deeply focused on human stories and the moments that matter most.
She is a proud dog mom to Sherlock Bones, Dr. Bark Watson, and Ms. Penny Pen, a lifelong creative, and the kind of person who wears many hats. Photographer, designer, business owner, and mom, Jenny brings both heart and intention into everything she does.
You will usually find her with a camera in hand, coffee nearby, and plants growing wherever possible.
Helder

Helder is an award winning landscape photographer originally from Portugal, now calling California home. His work is driven by a deep love for wild places and the quiet moments found far from the beaten path.
He is best known at home as the official snack distributor for Sherlock, Watson, and Penny, and is currently renovating a mountain home in Northern California.
Helder’s landscape work has been published in multiple outlets, including National Geographic, and his approach to place brings a calm, thoughtful presence to every elopement day.

Our absolute favorite things to do together includes exploring new trails, chasing sunrises, stargazing and just enjoying each other’s company with our two pups.

While we want to inspire people to step outside, we are also embracing the Leave No Trace philosophy.

We are embracing the seven Leave No Trace principles:

Plan ahead and be prepared.
Stay on durable surfaces for travel and camping.
Dispose of waste properly.
Leave natural surroundings undisturbed.
Minimize the impact of campfires (be cautious with fire).
Respect wildlife.
Be mindful of other visitors.

In many areas, some trails are getting loved to death by large crowds, garbage and environmental damage. Both Jenny and Helder want to do their part to minimize the impacts on nature, leaving it as untouched as much we can so that so that future generations can enjoy it too. Basically, Leave No Trace aims to keep the wilderness wild.
